1:30 PM Home Staging Carole Morgan has been appointed to Regional Vice President of the Real Estate Staging Association (RESA), an international trade association for home stagers and will be teaching the audience how to effectively market their home in any real estate market.
2:00 PM Exer-Aging Joette Sawall - Exer-aging: The importance of fitness and exercise as you age (aimed at a 55+ crowd, "senior fitness"). Exer-Aging: Begin to feel the power of movement at any age! Every women, regardless of her age, athletic ability and history can learn to use their bodies for strength, balance, and energy for life, creating a happier YOU!! Learn to be a model of fitness at any age through simple movements that strengthen the body and mind. 3:00 PM Belly Dancers Sarah Schneider Koning - Boheme Tribal Belly Dance - Belly Dance can be enjoyed by all ages, shapes, genders, and ability levels! Come share in our supportive community and learn from a nationally recognized instructor, with over 19 years of experience. 3:30 PM Tai Chi Certified Tai Chi Instructor, Ed Kehoe, will lead this interactive demonstration. Tai Chi is good for balance, stress reduction, joint range of motion, and circulation. Tai Chi incorporates simultaneous arm and leg movements to challenge and improve coordination and balance. Instructor Ed Kehoe has trained in over 10 forms of martial arts for over 30 years. He has earned a 4th degree black belt in Okinawan Karate and has taught karate and Tai Chi for over 15 years. His students have ranged in age from 6 years old to folks over 100 years of age.
4:00 PM Ceramic Tile Transformations This presentation is hosted by Jordan Lehner, department supervisor of kitchen & bath at Home Depot. Learn how to install a tile backsplash by learning the basic steps of laying ceramic tile to transform your kitchen, bathroom or mudroom. Learn to identify which tools are necessary to tile a backsplash, recall basic safety practices for tiling projects, and complete the project.
4:30 PM African Dance Dances of the African Diaspora: For heart opening, brain balancing, body awareness and flexibility. Join us as Kama Tai Mitchell, mother, wife, yogi, healer, performer and teacher of dance teaches us movements inspired by traditional African hand drums and rhythms. Complimenting her body awareness from dancing, Kama also practices and carries certifications in Yoga, Massage and Reflexology.
